Do I need my own surfboard?

Nope! Bunbury Surf School provides all boards.

What does Bunbury Surf School supply?

Bunbury Surf School provides a Surfing WA Accredited Coach, all boards, leashes and we also have a selection of wetsuits available.

What do I need to bring?

Just bathers, towel, sunscreen, water bottle and a healthy dose of enthusiasm!

How long does the lesson go for?

Our lessons go for 2 hours.

Where do we meet you?

We meet in the carpark at the designated surf spot. We will advise location prior to the lesson as it depends on swell and weather conditions.

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

Most of our beginner lessons are close to the shore, usually within 50 metres. We suggest you be able to swim 50 metres comfortably, but if you have any concerns we are happy to discuss!

What if I am late to a lesson?

We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your lesson commencement. Our cancellation policy is that no refund is given with less than 24 hours notice of non-attendance.

I have a medical issue/disability – can I do surfing lessons?

Bunbury Surf School prides itself on being safe and inclusive for all. We welcome support workers/carers and are happy to discuss your individual needs so that we can get you in the water!
